Fabric concept: SORONA Fiber is derived naturally. The fiber core PDO is derived from the plant starch glucose, not petroleum. Using 37% plant-based materials, Sorona fiber provides a more sustainable lifestyle. Compared to Nylon 6, SORONA fiber process reduces petroleum resource consumption by 37%, saves energy use by 30%, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 63%. It is a truly environmentally friendly material derived from natural plants. Its woven waffle, ribbed, pit and other texture knitted fabrics feel soft, water absorption speed is similar to cotton fabric, fast, clean water absorption. And superior elasticity, has a very strong rebound ability, colorful, not easy to pilling. Fiber structure: Glucose is obtained from corn seeds. Under the action of genetically modified bacteria, it is fermented to produce PDO (1,3 propylene glycol). After distillation, PDO is purified and dehydrated. SORONA fiber can be prepared by SORONA slicing after adding PTA (p-penthalic acid) reaction. It can give the knitted fabric a soft feel, with good stretch and resilience, easy dyeing at normal temperature and pressure, bright and lasting color, and chlorine/UV resistance and stain resistance and easy care characteristics.
